Client Success Engineer
At Lahzo, we help companies with complex sales cycles grow revenue more efficiently by combining targeted marketing with AI-powered sales agents. Our technology doesn't just capture leads, it guides buyers through the entire journey, reducing friction, increasing conversion and lowering customer acquisition costs.
Backed by experienced founders, diverse investors, and proven results, we're building the next generation of intelligent growth systems for modern businesses.
We're seeking a Client Success Engineer to join our growing team. You'll be the person who digs in when something isn't working—tracing problems through conversation logs, prompts, and code until you find the fix. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and operations, working closely with internal teams to keep our AI agents accurate, well-tuned, and performing reliably for every client we serve.
What You'll Do
- Manage and update client-specific prompt configurations, ensuring AI agents have accurate, current context about each client's business, offerings, and communication style
- Apply prompt engineering best practices to tune agent behavior—understanding the downstream effects of changes and validating outcomes before they reach clients
- Implement small, targeted code updates based on client requests, working within existing systems rather than building net-new features
- See client problems through from first report to confirmed resolution—digging into conversation logs, prompt configurations, and code until the root cause is found and fixed
- Maintain a deep understanding of the configuration levers available within Lahzo's platform and know when and how to apply each one
- Collaborate with internal teams to triage, prioritize, and resolve client-reported issues in a timely and thorough manner
- Document changes, configurations, and known behaviors to build institutional knowledge across the team
What We're Looking For
- Solid engineering foundation with hands-on experience in TypeScript and SQL, and familiarity with MongoDB
- Experience working with LLM-based systems or an understanding of how context impacts AI agent behavior
- A passion for the English language and the structure of it, essential for communication and to steer LLM based systems
- Strong debugging skills—comfortable reading conversation logs, tracing code paths, and diagnosing issues across both prompt and code layers
- Detail-oriented and methodical, with an appreciation for how small changes can have unintended consequences in production systems
- Ability to manage multiple client configurations simultaneously without losing track of context or accuracy
- Collaborative and communicative—able to work effectively with non-technical teammates while staying grounded in the technical realities of the system
- Genuinely energized by solving client problems—you treat a tricky issue as a puzzle and don't feel done until it's fully resolved
Compensation
- Base: $140k - $170k
- Equity: Participation in our equity award program.
